What 'locations have they done so far?
San Andreas: LA
Vice City: Miami
Liberty City: New York
London: London
Please correct me as i have no idea what they are actually based on. Los vegas would be INSANE but i would have thought a Detroit (due to the cars) or a southern state (due to the guns and immigrants) is more likely.

I think San Andreas had 3 or 4 city settings, although the main was LA - but I think one part was defo based around Las Vegas (it has a strip with casinos etc), another was San Francisco.
Yeah, San Andreas was based on the actual San Andreas area.
Los Santos was Los Angeles, San Fierro was San Francisco, and Las Venturas was Las Vegas. The names are the giveaway, if it was ever in doubt.
It will almost certainly be in the USA, and obviously won't be Liberty City again. San Andreas seems unlikely. Detroit is a decent shout, although it's hardly recognisable to an international audience in the same way that the Golden Gate/Statue of Liberty are.
As you can tell my geography, memory of the game and the city names in the game is quite poor.
but Detroit back in the time of the original muscle cars and motown... im sure they could do something with that?
