Awesome stuff - here's hoping that some of these features filter back up to the full FT03 Mk 2.
I really loved the MATX FT03 as a piece of design, but too many reviews noted a few too many problems for me to pony up my money....
Silverstone - I still want to buy a new MATX case!!

I quite like the look of this too.. I always seem to have a soft spot for Silverstone designs and having dealt with them (ordering replacement case parts etc.) they've been really helpful and pleasant as a company (they sent me a free replacement circuit board not so long ago.)

Look at all the wasted space at the top. They could have made the case less taller or made more room for internal components.

It looks like a arse-halfed effort from Silverstone - TBH,it looks like they shoe-horned an SG05 into the case in a vertical orientation.

Hmm very nice... am thinking of retiring my Coolermaster Black Widow which I've had for maybe almost 10 years now... am using the LC12 for my HTPC, but as/when I next upgrade my main rig this looks quite good.. though will have to be careful to get a 9" graphics card...

Wish he would stop saying FTO3 when clearly the box is marketed as FT03, Dont know why it winds me up so much when people say o instead of 0 but it does.

Agreed - and the novelty effect just make it a good enough case to compensate for those oversights.

I don't know about that - I suspect most of that room is for the PSU cable which won't flex very much. It was mounted on the bottom on the FT03 which meant they could reduce clearance on the top - the most likely obstacle was the graphics card cable which would bend a lot more easily than the PSU lead.

If you're saying that the design should've been improved and the PSU placed at the bottom like the FT03 standard, then I'm tempted to agree. I don't think the SG05 was necessarily a great starting place.

Since when has 'oh' not been synonymous with 0? I've never heard a phone number given without zeroes given in that manner.

You can get right angle PSU and DVI connectors. They could have simply included this in the box and reduced the clearance needed quite easily.

However,still the PSU location of the FT03 is still superior - like I said it seems they basically used an SG05!

I've got an early development version of the FT03 without the bits of aluminium right here, definitely not an SG05 I assure you.

The top cover wouldn't fit on if they reduced the space where the cables go any further.

Maybe one day manufacturers will ditch legacy ports like VGA and DVI and use DisplayPort (or mDP) which take up a lot less room.

Many people in the UK say 'oh' instead of zero. I'm not one of them however.

Perhaps it could be because the second syllable in zero sounds a lot like 'oh' i.e. zi-row.

If there are any problems with wifi signal; those fixed antennas which are usually bundled with ITX boards can be replaced with wired external antennas which are relatively cheap nowadays.
