Daikatana... waited months for it, through all the hype, the screenshots, the articles; it was going to be the next big thing. God it was awful.
Life is like a hair on a toilet seat. Sooner or later you're bound to get pissed off!
As a massive BF2 fan its got to be BF3, huge let down as the supposed true sequel to BF2.
Ooh interesting one... Maybe Dragon Age 2? Loved the first one, but the sequel was way too console-oriented. I'm sure there are lots more I've forgotten though!
"I want to be young and wild, then I want to be middle aged and rich, then I want to be old and annoy people by pretending that I'm deaf..."
my Hexus.Trust
SWToR imo
I'd love to say COD:Black OPS but no matter how much I hate the game, Duke Nukem Forever takes the cake.
every game of a movie ever
other than that, Ninja Gaiden 3, turned one of my favourite game series into a hack and slash farce, not even a good hack and slash, but a mediocre one
As far as hype to quality goes, I'd have to say The entire Halo series. People big halo up as if it is the god of gaming, but the only time i ever enjoyed it was playing forge mode on halo 3 with friends. Every other aspect of gameplay is terrible (in my opinion).

Dungeons
It was being stated by loads of different sources that it was similar in its own way as Dungeon Keeper 2, bought it when released on Steam being a fan of DK2 and it is the biggest unplayable pile of dino droppings I have ever laid money out for. On Steam it says I have clocked up a HUGE 39 minutes playing this game.
There are quite a few others also, things that I have bought in bundles usually, seeing and hearing great things but ultimately just haven't enjoyed them. Install, play for a half hour, think meh and uninstall to gather virtual dust locked away in a virtual closet.
Homefront, has a great idea but 4 hours of gameplay? Seriously? It also felt ridiculously unfinished, huge let down.
Metro 2033 due to its badly designed save game system which is limited to one auto save only, made worse by the poorly placed auto save points.
Then, for an unknown reason the save corrupts on me 8 hours through the game... I've not played Metro 2033 since.
From my console days, it has to be Halo:ODST for me. Such a poor title in a stella series.
Either Tekken Tag Tournament of RA3 for me.
I imagine that the top three is going to end up as Duke Nukem Forever, Daikatana and Doom III, with Rage coming in fourth...
Metacritic is suggesting some other games though. This year, "Legends Of Pegasus" has a mighty user score of 1.8, narrowly beating The Expendibles 2 Videogame on 1.7. The all-time low is "The Sims 3 Lunar Lakes" add-on, with a score of 0.0, Death and the Fly with 0.5 and Call of Duty: MW2 Stimulus Package add-on, with 0.5. Ignoring the add-ons, Call of Atlantis: Thorgal's Quest gets 0.7. Ignoring a load of other no-names, CoD:MW3 has a user rating of 2.2 overall.
