they desperately need SATA4 to come along now, to allow for 1gbps+ speeds, these SSDs are the best that they can get for now

Even Intel with all of tehir validation and testing cannot get it working reliably.
Remember what happened to their failure rate as soon as they started shipping the SSDx30 series? They used to be the makers of the most reliable SSD's available

Is the power saving really necessary? I cant really see people actually seeing a difference in energy consumption moving from 1w to 350mW.
Especially considering you'll be paying £20 +/- more for this than the 330. How long would you need to have the 335 to make up the difference in price by saving on electric?
Think laptop and battery life - every little helps.

Interesting, I didn't know intel did memory. I thought they were exclusively CPU's.
Current specs:
CPU: Intel i5 3570k Overclocked @ 4.6Ghz GPU: MSI Twin Frozr 7850 @ 1000Mhz Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA Z77X-D3H
Over the yeas Intel ave done pretty much everything. They even had a line of PC accessories at one point but hived that off (they did an awesome USB microscope).
go to www.intel.com, hover over the Menu button at the top left and have a look at all the things they do. There is a lot! And much of it is for the back end server market.
