you think they would have actually 'talked' to some of their potential customers (radical notion i know) in the first place to ascertain what data allowances people would want.
i just got a new phone contract 2 weeks ago and i might have actually considered this as a viable option with these new data allowances.
These are not phone contract prices, these are mobile data packages for Mobile dongle/set up
Feeling the pinch of all those Kevin Bacon TV adverts are they?

Still a no go for me, no way in hell will I partake in anything offered by ee, I was with o2 for many years until I discovered giffgaff, I will happily stay with giffgaff until they have their own 4g offerings, they suit me well on my s3 and the o2 coverage in Belfast is awesome...
was woundering why my usage allowance re-set.
Aidanjt, its just because simply they don't have to right now. In crowded parts of London they simply can't put enough 3.5G base stations, sometimes due to older kit, but there simply isn't the bandwidth.
This is both a blessing and a curse because I don't mind having a low limit if it means I can actually use it in the city, when sat by a window on a 20 story building with full 'bars' you can't use any data, it doesn't matter what the limit is at all.
I'd rather see a prime time useage type thing, some congestion indicator and price like that etc. This is what most home broadband people do after all.

Waste of time, sticking with Wifi/3G
Still not worth it as far as I'm concerned and happy that I switched to 3 from T-Mobile a couple of weeks ago. Chepaer, I get more in my plan and the network coverage is equal if not better.
Not actually showing on the EE website yet... still no 18 month option, and 3Gb plan is £46 per month on 24 month contract. Unlimited calls and texts do make things simple, but no thanks.
