Am I the only one, slightly amused by them calling a graphics card "Double D" ? does this mean you'd have to be a tit to purchase it?

Would never buy an XFX card again. I've had 2 that went up in smoke without ever being over-clocked. Their warranty system is a pain as well. So sorry not for me not at any price.

Please can Hexus maintain the same colours for the same card throughout the review graphs? Just makes it easier to identify which is which.

    +1.

Hexus appear to have missed 'likely to die' and 'enjoy a crap RMA ramble' from The Bad.

Edit: Parity on Showdown? When did this happen?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Latest drivers, I think - I spotted something where they were claiming big gains. Gotta wonder what was so badly screwed in the nv drivers that they can make that much difference in one release though...

They're only using high preset rather than ultra, so not the global illumination settings that nVidia cards struggle with.

Which is probably fair enough - the 7850 should be getting around 30fps on Ultra which Hexus might think is too low.

i like the bundle, however XFX suck and therefore a waste of time and money.

I will stick with my ASUS HD 7850. Might OC mine to what they did here.

Why would you OC an Asus card to the same as an XFX before testing?? They are two different cards lol... go do some research before OCing and blowing your card/PSU. Really, the power of human stupidity amuses me sometimes.

    Let me rephrase my statement.

As my Asus card had a good cooler, I might be able to increase the voltage and push it from the stock settings to the same as the XFX card therefore having a card as fast as that.

I of course will increase the OC in small increments to get to the most stable settings for my card.

    What's stupid about that?

And XFX are well know for having bad warranties and I leaned the hard way after the fan failed on my card after 2 months. Brilliant build quality there. You might be one of the lucky ones who have got a good card.

I will never buy another XFX product again.

first look was wow till I began reading it, thought Double D means Double GPU, and the long look it convinced me that this is crosfire radeon 7850 on single board, but naaah. Just naming and nothing more. It would be a nice card if it would be double 7850 radeon on single board.
