What a missleading video, surely the pad needs to be hooked up to a power brick to do all that. The battery will die before a movie is even over
Yes, the controller has very good battery life - but does require a good pre-charge. The screen is mega bright too. We get around five hours use before it warns us to attach to mains. The deluxe version comes with a controller cradle too. So you can use it like a teeny touch-screen in almost full HDTV. I'm interested to see what TVii will be like when it comes to Europe. The console's amazed me so far.
Yup - if user replaceable batteries for the pad ever get developed which extend battery life significantly (as with the DS), I'll be first in line... but it's not a big deal as it is if you remember to cradle it.
