The Corsair person described an interesting idea but short on specification detail, like is it Android, is there BT4 for remote KB control. I was interested until you asked a very important question: Why integrate a 2.5" drive into the dongle ? ie. oblige user to buy Corsair's 0.5 or 1TB drive I think the answer of support issues dodges the issue. They should provide just a reasonable small internal memory, say 4 or 8 GB and allow the user to plug in any external portable drive of their choice, not lock them into an internal 2.5" drive. That should actually REDUCE support issues, by reduced temperatures and allowing easy replacement of a failed HD.
