Good news i reckon, especially if it makes for worldwide release at the same time. If they can have success with this perhaps they can start to poach some of the shows from greedy TV networks stupid exclusive rights deals.
On the other hand... i fear this kind of movement as traditional broadcastic is what i do for a living!

As long as the prices are reasonable and offer either very granular access with small prices or an all in for a sensible amount. Not like sky where every additional package costs you a bloody fortune AND they get ad revenue.
Its ridiculous how little competition they have to allow them to get away with it.
