Slightly misleading headline - I was expecting some ruggedised 'droid gear with useful features like a shotgun mount, and in built apps like "Guard Scheduler", "Food Stocks Tracker", "Armageddon Forecaster" and "Special Forces Survival Guide". And "Duelling Banjos" as the default notification tone.

A ruggedised, inexpensive device would get my vote too - something easily pocketable, which means 7" screen or less.
