If it really is a Note 2 updated in style and at Note 2 prices (and rom support). Colour me interested. I am a sim free kind of a guy. However even the Note 2 is a powerful device, I just hate the metalic soap bar look. Having seen a Note 3 in the flesh its the nicest Samsung since the S2 IMHO. Especially with those Zenus cases.

+1 - Samsung are starting to flood the market with too many variations. Software updates will not happen for these lesser models. S3 mini taught people that.

If this is widely available in the next couple of months, I'll add it to my list of possible new handsets. I want a large screen, but I don't need flagship specs, I basically use my handset as a pocket internet device more than anything else. The Sony T2 Ultra is also a contender.

Also the T2 Ultra is huge not massive like the Z ultra. In the same position myself. My phone is really a pocket computer with phone functionality now.

Something like the Note 3 would be fine. Although I hate TouchWiz.
