It looks good as long as it doesn't cost more than an s5. If I remember correctly though the last one was rather laggy, so i'd wait to read some reviews before rushing out to get one.
I imagine that the new Touchwiz would be a big step up. I'd be with one in a flash if it really was a decent compromise
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Awesome except for a few niggling issues like small battery, 720p lcd and possible high price
Battery capacity and pricing would worry me too. But what would worry me more than a "mere" 720p screen is...
a full 1080HD screen would have been nice on this device, but on the other hand it's maybe also going to be a source of extra battery drain, while not really offering much in the way of tangible advantages (bragging rights don't count). The usual quota of Samsung "value add" would worry me more - based on my current Samsung devices.and a full range of Samsung bloatware.
Galaxy K looks like a nice device. Particularly like that it's got a sensible screen size of <5" and decent storage. Got to wonder though whether the sensor that they could squeeze into that phone would suffer from noise or similar image problems. I await the first review...
That's actually beginning to look like you might be able to use it as a phone rather than having a phone hanging off your camera.
60fps video recording would be sweet. I heard that Xperia Z2 would come with 4k recording - yeah, I know most of you wouldn't have any use for it but it's great when editing videos, then you can render it in 1080p just to fit in more common screens.
Good point - quite like the Z2. Although, according to the Android Central podcast, it's been delayed in the UK. 20MPix sensor if I remember rightly, so I guess you can afford to use digital zoom and still get something that doesn't look utterly rubbish.
Actually, I'm going to give some kudos to Samsung for being able to get an optical zoom (especially a 10x) in something that still looks like a phone. Now if THEY can do it, how about Sony being able to do it - a "Cybershot" phone is still something that'd interest me.
