To loud a fan is a dealbreaker for me and that large bezel.
The worse bit though has to be that tacky, highly visible MSI gaming logo.
Thats quite impressive gaming performance for only a 2KG laptop though.
Hmm, large power draw from a kepler GPU, then a smaller than average battery... no thanks. I'll take a refreshed macbook/XPS style thing with a 90Wh-ish battery, same weight, higher res, touchscreen, maybe a little less gaming performance unless they go for an 860M this time around.
That £1,160 price link in the third paragraph links to a £1,200 MSI laptop at Scan. Can one of the staffers change it?
It's a gaming laptop foremost and no one with any sense would game on battery power. As long as it has enough power for day to day tasks I don't see a problem for a small battery. It certainly helps with portability which goes some way to keep this machine at 2kg. Why don't Hexus state the weight of the PSU you will also have to carry?
Not being able to upgrade components without voiding the warranty just kills it for me. I don't like paying the inflated prices laptop manufactures charge for better components like RAM and SSDs when I should be able to fit them myself. I also want to choose the components myself like being able to pick a 500Gb or 1Tb Samsung EVO mSATA if I want.
When will the Pro version be out?
