Re: News - EA shows Star Wars: Battlefront and Battlefield Hardline at E3

EA can do what they Like, we have had nearly a whole year of that rubbish EA call Battfield 4, Not one server can anyone get on now with at least 3 or 4 Hackers at a minimum, then the net code that everyone is screaming for EA to fix is still not fixed after what a year.
EA are an epic fail, and they clearly do nothing about the hackers and their pathetic get out answer is "well its probably because they are good players" yeah right any one playing Battfield 4 knows when they are being duped when they let a whole clip off on a player then the player turns round and kills you with 1 or 2 hits only for you to be told killed by player 100%, in other words that whole clip you unloaded on them did nothing.
I certainly will never spend another penny with EA or Dice as long as I live, the worst Gaming company in the world who think they can just release a Beta based title, charge premium for it then turn their backs thinking they have got away with everyones money and that it does not matter, well news for them this player has had enough, about time some one got EA into court and brought them bang to rights for their Cowboy attitude towards good money spending players.

I will make sure I factor any DLCs into the total purchase cost, even if it means I wait a while for the price of the base game to drop!

Indeed. BF3 had a rocky release but it was sorted fairly quickly.....BF4 has just been a complete farce.....but then most FPSes released recently have been lackluster in some way or another.....but BF4 really took the biscuit in terms of a completely and utterly broken game that took almost a year to (mostly) fix.

I was a bit interested in Hardline due to getting into FPSes via tactical ops (back in the day!)....but after seeing the Rainbow Six gameplay trailer last night, I think I will wait for that instead

Battlefield .... the most infuriating, buggy and broken game I've ever bought. Until its fixed, which looks very unlikely, I wont be buying Hardline. Great game and love the Frostbite engine, but the amount of hard crashes it causes on my PS3 is just not right.

Bring on Mirror's Edge 2. Loved the freerunning nature of the first one, and if the story's more fleshed out than the first, then I'm all for that.

what you talk about in the 1st part of your rant at EA (not a criticism, I love a rant!) is more likely the net code issue - I've played enough BF4 (on PC) and have never suspected anyone I've come across of hacking (although I am not doubting they exist) - I've played all the BF installments online, clocking up several hundred hours in each installment (from BF 1942 through BF4) and the number of times I've had folk (squeakers or adults) scream H4X0R at me is insane - in general when you play any PvP FPS games there are huge numbers of people who are unable to accept getting killed, unable to accept the possibility that you were spotted and highlighted on an enemy map and unable to take into consideration bad net code or other latency issues

That's my experience also. Although I have found the odd little bird or tank user to be extremely dodgy......but that could just be a system of poorly implemented vehicle balance.....
