Still got a TRUE (with a Yate-Loon fan on it? Could be a Noctua through, can't remember which I put where). Moving to a H75 in the shift to ITX.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which CPU cooler do you use?

Years ago I was using a Thermalright (though I can't recall the version nor the name) tower cooler; it was a behemoth, but worked fairly well for an air cooler.
I then tried the CoolIt Domino; that was a disaster, the side of the waterblock cracked and leaked coolant everywhere.

I eventually went to a custom water cooling loop and have never looked back; I may not overclock my components, but to have a video card never get above 37 degrees Celsius is a win, win scenario for me.

The PC in my sig died 2 weeks ago and I'm still not finished my new build, but I have bought a corsair H105 for the new PC which will hopefully cool an i7 4790k without any problems.

A cheapo Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus. It's superb, keeps my 2500k cool enough and it's pretty quiet also.

My rig is due to be completely overhauled next year and I quite fancy pushing the boat out for a custom watercooling loop.

Noctua NH-C14 on a 3770K. Big but awesome cooling. Replaced a H70 with this as the H70 was a real disappointment.
Artic Freezer 13 which has been with me for a 2500K, 2600K and 4670. Always quiet, always great cooling performance. Best value for money cooler that outperforms some more expensive wannabees.

Corsair H100i on the CPU and 2 H75's on the GPU's.

Used to have a Arctic Freezer 13 Pro (much bigger that the standard 13), was a very good cooler.

I've got a Corsair H100i on my FX8350, keeps it fairly cool, around 21C at idle. Only thing is something is a little noisy - either the fans or the pump.

Akasa nero 3 on my core 2 duo.
Hoping it still good for haswell as it has served me well as my new planned build is going to be on a tight budget.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which CPU cooler do you use?

My poor old AM2+ chip was living on a stock cooler until last year, where the heat generated started wrecking the system. The Zalman 7000-ALCU I replaced it with's a huge improvement. The new system when I upgrade (8320, 8GB DDR3, 990FX M/B) will likely have a Raijintek Aidos on it.

Noctua NH-D14 with 120mm + 140mm Scythe Glide Stream PWM fans. Superior performance at low noise levels

    Xigmatek Thor's Hammer

Using it passively to cool a mildly overclocked Athlon X2 270 (@3.6ghz). Keeps it below 55C even gaming on a hot day. It's huge, looks pretty smart, and only cost £16, new & delivered, from Ebay.

Will need to add a fan to it when I eventually opt to switch to an FX CPU

I've got almost the same cooler (the "Evo" instead of the "Plus"). Excellent value for the money. I don't think I could be much happier.
