Steam - ReapedYou - Feel free to add me!!
Those with anything less than a 4GB 770 SLI rig need not apply..
Also, you have to laugh at the thought of a 34' screen in portrait mode...you'd need to lie on your back to use it unless you want a damaged neck.
My interest has been piqued!
Now, make it curved......

Have you used a curved display before?
I'm not challenging you it's just that I haven't and I'm interested to see if you benefit from something being curved like this could be.
I know the science behind the focal lengths to lessen eye strain (and why curved TV's are a bit of a gimmick) but I can't see it making a noticeable impact.
Your thoughts?
loving this, i am after a new monitor when i move but how physically big would this be in an office? too big for sitting 3-4 ft away
Nice looking monitor, pretty reasonable price for the size, (and the fact that it's 3yr's on site warranty).
Not keen on speakers though, and putting in an RS-232 port on a monitor is just bizarre.
34" pivot mount? Good luck operating that - my 19" is enough of a pig to make me wonder if you'll need to be Hercules to do a 34".
Doing documentation updates at the moment so a widescreen like this would be really handy.
Just think of the number of tabs you'd be able to have open in Chrome...
Ok I've wanted a 21:9 screen for a while, the older ones failed by being 1080p or silly expensive....
But this one:
34 inch - Yey!
21:9 - Yey!
IPS - Yey!
£500 - Yey!
1400p - Yey!
So whats wrong with it?

That's my thoughts on their last one.
If this has input lag anything near the last one I used, I don't see the appeal. Even for basic 2D/3D work, it was really noticeable.
Would a monitor like this correct the aspect ratio for older games that can't go super wide ? Just wondering as this monitor looks very tempting and I have a few old games i'd like to play through again.
No doubt this is using the LG panel/screen.
It seems LG's 34" 21x9 monitor is suffering from excessive backlight bleed after a few weeks of use due to construction problems.
So I'm waiting for Dell's 34" to appear, will probably go for that one due to Dell's decent customer service.
