Wicked cool! I remember breaking 3 mice on this on my 486... Decided a joystick might be better...
Even I'm tempted by this, and these days, I'm hard to tempt. Being GOG, it certainly solves most of my normal gaming reservations. And I still owe a big thanks to the member here that introduced me to GOG. You know who you are.
My only reservation is that I still have boxed versions of Xwing, TIE fighter, Sam and Max etc, AND systems I can play them on. Do I want to fork out again for current DRM-less versions? Well, yup. I do want to. I just don't know if I actually will.
But it does definitely get my thumbs up.
Be very interesting if they add some AA and a little bit of a HD remake....that really could get me to buy them again.
XWing, Tie Fighter, Indy and Monkey Island were the most iconic set of games from my computing past. For so many years nothing at all came close to them.
Such a shame LucasArts went the way it did

I'm hoping they also release grim fandango which was done by lucasarts. Great game and one of the funniest I've ever played.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
If they released remastered versoions of these, they would shift them by the bucket load. Same with wing commander 3 & 4.
So is this gonna be on Steam?
Tempted but not sure I want to ruin the memories, and not to mention really needing a joystick to be able to play this properly.
That said, I've been meaning to get Elite: Dangerous and that needs a joystick too....

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Woah! About time! I actually thought this would never happen, given Disney (and LucasArts)'s seeming indifference to 'flight'-sim fans. I have a joystick gathering dust that I was just about to get rid of, so gr8 timing :-)

It does say they are 'graphically enhanced'! Which probably means 32 colours instead of 16!
I think the Monkey Island is the re-release where you had the choice of playing 'enhanced, 3d-ish, cartoon' graphics or original, Amiga-style.
They were released a while ago on Steam, but obviously, you needed Steam to run them. Now you don't...
Now, if they could see their way to releasing Day of the Tentacle...
I love tie-fighter - lost many hours to it while I was 14... I'm guessing by high res it means the 'enhanced CDROM' version I had (Edit: think it went from 320 to 640 resolution) . Loved the missile boat myself!
Oh man. Reminds me of back in the day. Must pick these up - not sure whether it will play the same. It was a different age, and expectations were different. I wonder if the game stands the test of time. I remember hating the escort missions and then trying to chase down one pesky TIE bomber before it shot off a missile Must pick up Xwing and Tie Fighter - ashamed to say that I never got round to playing the latter - even though I think it was universally hailed as the better game... I think I always wanted to be the good guys
