Maybe I'm being a dinosaur here, but I think i'd actually find this a bit annoying! Wouldn't your fingers keep obscuring the edges of the screen?
"I want to be young and wild, then I want to be middle aged and rich, then I want to be old and annoy people by pretending that I'm deaf..."

How the hell are you supposed to actually use that without accidentally touching the screen just from holding the phone?
By holding the edges of the phone, not the front?
Where will the buttons go? the ones in the bottom.
Do you like Peppers? How do you like those peppers?
Same thought here. Think any phone that used this screen would need some kind of handstrap on the back for stability.
There's no need for hardware buttons at the bottom of the screen, and LG has been very good, (not sure that's the right word, but it'll do), at moving all the stuff that's normally on the side to the back of the phone.
I'm sure it's technically very accomplished, but I'm kind of left feeling ... why? Looking elsewhere for this story and I note that some Apple-fans are already claiming that LG's just "trying to copy the iPhone's thinness feature" which I'm utterly confused by.
I'm more interested in seeing cheaper high res PC monitors.
Although I am loving the 6mm bezel on my new Dell
If you can get a whole hudl for £65 why can't you get a 4k monitor for £260?
I want my phone to be small yet have a large screen, bezels have to be small to get that. If this in the G4 I will be seriously tempted.
It should be possible to implement some kind of software filtering which eliminates accidental touch input from your palm at the edge of the screen. Much like palm rejection on tablets when using a stylus. Will need to be done very well to make sure it's not annoying, but I reckon it can be done...
Like it ... like it lots, large bezels have always been my pet hate on anything with a display.
Agree that it would be good to see bezellessness (is that a word?) on monitors/televisions/large displays.
