Looks sharp and liking computers on the quieter end of the scale, this would definitely make the short-list for the next computer build!

I've grown to love the Be Quiet! power supply (DP pro 10) in my last build - if this is their first punt at a case, I'll look forward to what may come for my next.

Looks good, a few minor improvements could be made but still a solid first case.

So much so that it brings up what could be a deal-breaker for some: there's no side window.
Staring through a PC's window? Really? Haven't these people heard of washing machines or microwave ovens? There's a lot more going on inside those, especially the washing machine. I can spend hours... :-D

I wanted it to be called the Dark Tower. Meh, still functional though, but Purewings on a top tier case? Come on Be Quiet, what happened to no compromises?

Re: Reviews - be quiet! Silent Base 800

wow, constantly complaining at the size.
I'm contemplating this case but to be honest it would be way smaller than what I have and I'm not sure I could ever give up this case, I have had it just over 10 years.
Only reason I may give it up is it could be quieter and it also has no suitable place to mount liquid cooling and max fan size is 92 mm.
The reason its so hard to give up is its massive (660mm tall) and green.
I really hate that modern cases either have to be OTT boy racer styled (leds windows all that s**t) and have colour, or be understated and boring black or white (oooo they do grey too sometimes so exotic).
If they did something like the Fractal designs R4 in all over purple or green maybe a nice orange (muted tones not neon) I would have one already.
The Be Silent case excites me because while looking reasonably plain it also has a little colour, I would prefer a more muted orange case and the trim be black or white.

Yeah I think my rant has convinced me, why part with £100 to get a boring case even if its quiet. Going to stick with my Chieftec Matrix.

Too conservative on the exterior? they should finish with some aluminium on the exterior.

New cases should not have USB 2 ports... is it too much to expect all four ports be USB 3?

Re: Reviews - be quiet! Silent Base 800

I see what be quite! did for the Silent Base 800 here.

While it's a fan based cooling solution first, and liquid cooling second, me thinks this would be a uber-perfect case for a AIO CPU cooler since those do have a pump sound that the Sile Base 800 can crush while providing an increase in overall lower temperatures. I like that!

As for the side panel not having a window, that's perfectly okay with me since there is extra sound proofing taking precedence over internal vanity. I suppose one could mount a USB Webcam inside to view the innards from time-to-time to gaze into spinning fans and whatnot.

Overall, I think it's a great case and that touch of orange accent is welcomed indeed!
