Swapped out a VooDoo 2 for a Voodoo 3 3500. Does that count?

Put in a Crucial 256gb SSD in my desktop, now boot up in under 2 seconds plus games load a lot faster, definitely worth it!

The only thing I have done is add a WiFi card as my current PC has been without one for 3.5 years lol.

Re: QOTW: Which PC components did you upgrade in 2014?

coolermaster (not so) Elite 460W -> XFX ProSeries 450W Core Edition Bronge
the old PSU started failling (first some line spike alerts then BSOD in games) so I replaced it with something really good.

I also got a new coolermaster N300 case to replace my old no-name macpro like case, but I haven't switched yet, I plan to open my office in 2015 and I want it to look brand new.

Re: QOTW: Which PC components did you upgrade in 2014?

build a total new liquid cooled haswell i7 /MSI computer , i still need is a new monitor and a few SSD drives , i took however the Radeon 270x Gaming, 4GB card because the 290 just was too expensive , pretty happy with it , but could be better

Upgraded to a 250GB Evo SSD in my Y50. Thinking I should have gone for 500GB when I found out that Far Cry 4 is 31 GB :O

Samsung SSD for my desktop OS. Amazing upgrade.
Built the kids a Kaveri APU micro tower each. Very capable for anything other than gaming on the latest titles
