Actually, I kinda like them....!!
I like the idea, but I do have a concern on their PCI-E extension; it's a ribbon cable that is quite long as it wraps around behind the card in order for it to sit with the fans pointing towards the window. I have to wonder what affect that could have on GPU performance?
Also, it's a tad expensive...
Similar to silverstone rvz01, some good differences, some less so.
GPU in the orientation that I would prefer for a case like this, and nice looking glass to show it off. I really like the look of this case, especially after imagining how it would look wall mounted.
A shame it is so big, I really liked the size of the original steam machine - it lacked expandability, but I rarely use more than a single drive in a computer anyway; I would go for a NAS if I ever kept a large amount of digital files.
Hopefully someone makes a smaller case before this, and the Silverstone FTZ01 come out as I do not mind waiting too much.
I like the smallest one, would be tempted with something like that when building next machine (not for a while). Need to see what cooling is like for it when running a full spec main machine in it.

Interesting design.. I also quite like the smaller case. Would be very interested to see a full review with temps. Might not have the space to cool that well. We shall see!
Wow, these look nice, but seem hard to justify at those prices!
Just brilliant
I loved the designs the moment they came out and I knew they would be expensive but I still want one. I would never buy one though solely because of how big it is.
The FTZ01 and the ML08 will support a new, larger PSU design that will still be smaller than traditional atx designs but larger than the original Silverstone sfx psu.
Key thing is that the new PSU has what looks like a 120mm fan and will hopefully be available in higher capacities, but only 500W was available.
Can you link this psu, I can't seem to find it. I currently have the 450w sfx (not gold) and it's the loudest thing in my rvz01 but it's the psu after all so I can't really do anything about it.

SFX-L PSUs.
The original 450W was pretty horrible but I switched to the 300W as my hardware is pretty low power and it's very quiet as the fan doesn't spin up until a certain temperature.
