Just moving to Three from Giffgaff (O2). I have to wonder how the data network will hold up with O2 customers + Sky customers + Dixon customers all piling on...

Dixons and Carphone Warehouse merged??? When did that happen? Where have I been??????

    So,
    Dixons merged with Currys
    Currys merged with PC World
And now CURRYS+PCWORLD are merging with Carphone warehouse

Our economy continues to go downhill.

What next ? Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's will merge ?

Dixons, Currys and PC World were all part of Dixons Stores Group. When they amalgamated it was little more than a rebranding exercise. The Dixons Carphone merger happened last August.

I would love if one of these MVNO's would work with multiple providers so that it would automatically pick the strongest signal from any available network.

I'm not sure it makes a great deal of difference to the market anyway, the big networks were pretty much cartel-like in the first place.
