Re: Next gen Nvidia SHIELD handheld console listed by Bluetooth SIG

Is this going to be the tablet to get in 2015, or is this not a tablet? Is it expected to be like the older Shield device? The Snapdragon 810 is not looking so great right now, so I am wondering what to set my sights on for my next tablet...

Hopefully this will actually get released outside the US this time. The shield is exactly the formfactor I want for a portable gaming handheld, the separate tablet + controller is no good unless you carry a table around with you.

Thought we were all waiting for an X1-powered Shield tablet...

Or are NVidia doing a tick-tock with the handheld and tablet Shields.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Hope they have trimmed the bezel and increased the screen size this time... I definitely don't "need" one but it would be nice to have to play some games remotely :-)
