Nice to look at, not a fan of the disco ball laptop, shame about price and noise though

    Re: Gigabyte P37X

I have the P34w with 970m, the fans do ramp up quite a bit. There are 4 fan modes from the latest Gigabyte smart manager, stealth, auto-low, auto-high and max fan. I run mine on auto-low; it still makes a bit of noise, but you cannot hear if you're wearing headphones. Also stealth mode does throttle the processors and graphics card down too, but it's pretty much silent. Have been playing Pillars of Eternity on that mode with no problem (its not too demanding I know), only noticed a bit of slow down in one of the main towns.

Pretty much the compromise you have to make if you want something so slim (and it is).
