It looks interesting although not sure if it was the IQ of the video I watched but it didn't seem as detailed as BF4, even though it's pretty much running on the same engine.

Really? That forest scene looks so much nicer than anything I've seen on BF4.

I can't help getting really excited about both the film & the game...I hear that opening music, & I'm 7 years old again, watching Star Wars for the first time! Yep...I'm that old! I just hope my hopes aren't dashed like they were with the prequels. I still haven't forgiven them for Jar jar binks...

Anyone got any predicitons for the framerate of the console version of this game? I'm prediticing an EXTREMELY CINEMATIC 20fps with the occasional touch on 30fps.

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront release date of 17th November is leaked

Am I the only one not excited by this or the film. With EA (Destroyer of Command & Conquer, Simcity, Dungeon keeper etc) and Disney (lets squeeze as much cash out of something as we can until the well runs dry) involved I'm not even slightly hopefully. I've got the original three films on DVD - I'm planning to just keep that as my 'starwars'.
    Trust

    Laptop : Dell Inspiron 1545 with Ryzen 5500u, 16gb and 256 NVMe, Windows 11.

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront release date of 17th November is leaked

Its certainly a valid concern, we just have to see what happens. Abrams himself is quite controversial due to the way he took Star Trek too. For the game atleast Dice appear to be very committed, thats not to say EA can't tell them what to do ofcourse but I would hope EA are happy to leave Dice to do their thing now.
