A stunning achievement but if it is 1mm thick where do fit the HDMI and power cable?

Oh this is one nice looking piece of kit.

I want a 99 inch 0.97mm thick one, how much?

Or maybe a competition for the future Hexus?

Lovely, now what sort of refresh rate can they do on a 2560x1440 PC monitor using this tech, as that is what I actually want to buy.

If you can roll the TV down like a blind, then I might be interested in a 32" one for the bedroom.

While I don't mean to put a downer on the 0.97mm thickness does that include what the screen is attaching to?

Looking forward to seeing what kind of godawful built-in speakers someone will try to manufacture in with this technology.

But in all seriousness, this is impressive - if it really works.

Mounting the entire thing on a pizo electric backing should give it the tinny sound we are used to without adding thickness or bezel width

So we're going towards thin, flexible displays.. why not also use them as a speaker membrane? (OK, things might get a bit blurry, but I'm sure that would add to the impact!)

Now LG just needs to get the price down to something mere mortals can afford without selling the house.

I'm sure they can fit them in the bottom corners of the VESA mount.
