Hideous looking machine though well specced if rather expensive.
Are these not the guys who make cheap tech tat for the lidl supermarkets ?
I wonder what the water cooling system consists of?
Medion is owned by Lenovo now. They are generally okay from friends experience.
I did a back-of-envelope calculation (I cheated and used PCPP), the link to the parts list is below. Essentially you're paying around £300 extra for a simpler (and shorter) warranty, bloatware, and obviously assembly. I might've been generous with the CPU cooler, and PSU but it's hard to tell what Len...Medion are using. Rest assured they're paying tuppence compared to what retailers charge us for components, though.

I used to sell this brand when I worked at Toys R Us. Actually got moved to a different section because I actively told people to stay far away, these are an absolute back of crap. 90% return rate on laptops (we stopped asking what was wrong with them, normally returns were a nightmare but anyone who came in we just apologized and refunded), and the desktops were put together by what I assume are people high on ketamine.
Hands down the worst PCs I've ever seen
They make/made PC's for Aldi.
I bought one back in the P4 days with an MX 460 and a latter one with a 4200ti in it. They where decent computers. Better than the HP, Compaq,... of that time. AND cheaper.
Don't know about quality today but back in the day a good choice if you didn't overclock and just want to buy and use. It had a P4 2.0A, for those who don't know what the A stood for, it was the P4 with 512kb L2 cache
Is was the: MD 3001 & MD 8008, they both just needed a small RAM upgrade to really perform at peak.
Even had ridiculous media input and outputs, more then this one it looks.
EDIT: it's a company from Germany, so it could be that the parts sold here in Europe are a little better then the one they export to USA and Asia,..
WOW! that is expensive! you can get the x99 platform with 5820 and 980ti build for that money - and enough left over for either beastly storage or a monitor....
