There was a company that makes a sturdy support that's easy on the eyes, but I can't seem to find it...

The first thing I noticed was the video card looked wrong due to a drop on one side.
I have recently started using a HTPC case where the motherboard sits horizontal instead of vertical. It avoids video card problems like this. But even my tower case came with a dual (supports 1 or 2 cards) video card support bracket standard. My HTPC has a NZXT g10 water cooled 290X with a lot of big copper heatsinks all over it - so a lot of weight, but no problem due to it's alignment.
Don't know why so many new cases don't have any extra support, particularly as some of the high end video cards are getting quite big and heavy. Even some motherboards are trying by improving the PCI-e slot with extra support to support the heavier video cards.
I had to laugh with Sumanji's great idea and innovative approach. :-)
Apart from that, I think the case is either love or hate type of design. Personally I prefer to look at simplistic performance (but top end design and features) rather than bling.
As I live in Australia, it makes no impact with trying to do price conversions. Prices here are normally a ripoff and also we are normally behind everyone else in new product supply, some things we never even see. Just two examples of untold many - I recently purchased a NZXT USB 2.0 header expansion board and I could not find one here to save my life, had to buy it overseas. Or the ASRock mini PC's like the vision series, etc - never seen them here for sale at all.
Main reason I like sites like Hexus, as I get to see what, with a lot of unbiased opinions, is happening in the rest of the world.
Nice article and I to thought it odd to see a higher end gaming machine without a better ssd (I would prefer a PCI-e SSD).

Hmm... The Scan 3XS seems like a better system from this review. The only benchmarks it didn't beat the system being reviewed was CPU Temps and one game benchmark. If you take the difference in price to upgrade the memory and gpu to match the Vibox, it should be a much better system.

I didn't notice the slant on the gpu at first, but after it was pointed out I can't believe I missed it.
