Technically, Nvidia is an American company, as is AMD. Both are headed by American citizens (although Ms. Su is Taiwanese born). So no, neither company is "Asian" except for the coincidence that both CEO's are of Asian (or partial Asian) descent.

For me, the bigger story is that the President and CEO of Google wasn't invited...

And for the record, Alibaba isn't an American company... it's Chinese. A simple Google would have made that obvious.

And why is the guy in the green tie looking at Lisa Su like he's some kind of Bond villain... or perhaps wondering how she tastes with hoisin sauce...
