Good old Apple always behind the curve...
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Bit early to make comments like that, since no-one uses OLED for laptops or all-in-ones.
Regarding phones which is what the post was actually talking about

For example the Nokia N95 released in 2008 had an AMOLED screen. Galaxy S had AMOLED too. Apple are quite a way behind the others in some areas

Just to note that LG's WOLED design avoids the different colour sub-pixels deteriorating at different rates by using only white OLED's and using LCD-like colour filters.
Having recently seen a 1080p OLED side by side with a normal 4K screen (with obviously 4K material), I gotta say the OLED looked better.
I'm really torn on this, because while it's more expensive, it'll save me a bundle on graphics cards (I use a TV for gaming)
I was recently wow-ed by OLED used on a curved LG TV, but to be honest I didn't feel like the screen on my Galaxy is really better or worse than the screen on the iPhone it replaced (I noticed the colour were different). I guess that just like LCD, not all OLED are created equal. But I hope to see more laptop using OLED screen if only to see if it can replicate what I felt looking at that LG TV.

Blue is the problem colour for fade. Samsung make the blue pixels twice as big to combat this. Burn in is the main issue but I also think that price has stopped a lot of people making inroads, people hardly ever replace monitors when they should I still go to clients who have a year old pc connected to a vga monitor that's donkeys old
