SWG Awakening
I've been focusing a lot more on single player games this year - my personal favourites are Fallout 4 and Witcher 3; even though I do think that Fallout: New Vegas had a better story.
The Witcher 3 is a beautiful game, my PC can just about handle maximum settings except for HairWorks - which kills my FPS.
I have enjoyed a few different games this year, mainly though it has been grabbing stuff that came out llast year at reduced prices, CoD Advanced Warfare got me back into CoD, I have been loving Farcry 4 which I only got a few weeks back and I keep going back to stuff like AC Unity, Wolfenstein (New Order & Old Blood) and a few others.
Bloodborne has definitely been a highlight for me this year, must admit found it a bit easier to get to grips with that the souls games with great fast combat and an awesome twisted steampunk type setting.
Assassins Creed Syndicate taking the series back to its roots with a great setting around Victorian London and the Industrial Age
My absolute favorite this year has been Tales of Zestiria (PS4 version), an awesome JRPG with some great humor and it is just so playable and enjoyable. I have laughed hard (so has my wife) at some of the cutscenes, likeable characters and everything about it just stands out for me. Maybe feel this way about it as normally play the Final Fantasy games (Tales of previously I think was on SNES for me), I love the live combat rather than the active time type battles on FF where you take turns hitting each other.
It's been difficult for me to pick anything that wasn't a remaster tbh (i.e. Uncharted or TLoU)
It's been by far the worst year I can remember for gaming, to the point where if I had to pick a favourite, it would probably be the infamous Batman: AK!! Which says a lot about the calibre of titles this year

Fallout 4 was great till I completed it, all 3 faction endings, then was very "meh, what now".
Witcher 3 was similar but still had plenty to do after the main story was done.
Strangely I've been playing Mech Warrior Online more than anything and would probably go with that.
For me it would have to be Dying Light.I've always liked games with free running and I could just spend hours running around old town doing nothing it's that fun and if you ever get bored you can just start running at night for a bigger challenge. I haven't played any of the Q4 releases yet but I have to say other then dying light the others I bought during the year felt like a waste of money
Another vote for Witcher 3.
These days I'm a PC gamer only. The best game of 2015 is Tomb Rai... oh, never mind. I've only played Fallout 4 and to be honest it was...ok. It just felt like a placeholder for the next Elder Scrolls game.
Has to be the Witcher 3. The sheer quality of content in the game is amazing and well worth the asking price of anyone's money. CDPR are great devs too
I think its been a very poor year for releases. That being said my game of the year is Dying Light.
2015 has been the worst year for games.
If I had to choose, I would go for Destiny 2.0 ?

I had hoped to be enjoying my games on my new 40" Philips Monitor but sadly it has a fault and got to return it and hoping that I get a replacement in time for Christmas this year :/
I thoroughly enjoyed playing both The Witcher 3 and MGS V though the latter ended all too soon. I am currently enjoying a second play through on The Witcher 3 on the New Game+ option and mixing the original content with that of Hearts of Stone to keep things fresh.
Rise of the Tomb Raider, would have liked to play this but only have a PC, still I can hope that they'll port it in a year or two down the line.
Fallout 4, not played this yet and expecting to grind it out to help whittle away the winter evenings.
Ordinarily I would have been neck deep in GW2 but this year it's been ominously quiet and the expansion for it simply wasn't up to scratch to amount to anything much. Still it does have Wintersday coming along soon so no doubt I'll be popping on to share in the whole festive misery err... I mean spirit(s).
Total War: Attila, Fallout 4 & Witcher 3. Can't decide which should have which spot. Honourable mentions to Rebel Galaxy & Galactic Civilizations III.
