Nice, we have 379USD GPU faster than GTX 980Ti.
AMD, what's your answer?

Looks like nvidia have another winner on their hands.
Quick pop over to newegg on the costs of the 980ti looks like stock cards have held their $649 release price and lowest AiB is $539
970 was release price $329, with stock cards still around that and the lowest AiB at $289
So if 1070 mrrp is going to be $449 I'm not so sure it'll get down as low as $379 and very doubtful it'll go lower.
And from what I've seen so far AMD's answer it'll be not the top end performance but beat nvidia in the mid range

Also in what Universe does the 980Ti have a 17000 graphics score?

I had mine overclocked for the test but still, 17000 is a joke invented by you guys. Which is funny cause you're the ones that said my current GPU was doing 21-22k at the time of your review.
Well, judging from the 1080FE prices, there won't be any $379 ones for a while. More like $450.
Since the F's Edition (pick your favourite word starting with 'F' and containing the sound 'ool') is rather poor and throttle in closed cases, why should AIB's offer better card for less?
Probably because it throttles unless the fan is set to R9-290X levels of noise. At the least the R9-290X reference design had a good quality PCB. F's Edition has a poor PCB and a poor fan.
Waiting for AMD Vega for the killer high-end with HBM2.
Polaris is intended for mainstream; early indications are that they'll be great price/perf/power efficient cards.
Answer: Shill reporting misinformation... Have a look at Toms 'review' on the 1080: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-pascal,review-33557-5.html and have a look at Pg.3 - quote: "The Ashes charts represent DirectX 12 performance using the game’s built-in benchmark/logging tool. Hitman and Tomb Raider are presented using DirectX 11. However, we have results from DirectX 12 using those games as well, which we’ll mention in the analysis (spoiler: in most cases, performance drops with DirectX 12)"
...and yet to issue those DX12 charts!
The 1070 performance, at 1080p, is 25% faster than a 980... Which still ONLY means an extra 8/10fps etc. Man the marketing people LOVE to do this stuff.
But at half the price. You could nearly run two 1070's in SLI for a bit more than one 980Ti, and obviously for less than a Titan X. This is all about price-to-power-to-performance numbers and that's why it's pretty cool.
Anyone that bought a Titan X/980/980Ti within the last few months is probably pretty salty by now anyway.
I am not talking about Fondation Edition price or whatever F you think, so MSRP is 379USD.
Nobody in their right mind will by that edition. Knowing that you might get soon cheaper and probably better PCB quality and fan quality which can lead to even better performance.
Now here in Switzerland (knowning that GTX 1080 FE is on preorder for 899CHF), GTX 1070 AIB will be at start probably closer to 450CHF(440USD) and hold till AMD comes to the play (Vega in December).
Greedy shops will probably have offer for 500CHF.
