no offence, but whoop de do. We've got much bigger things on our plates right now.
Like what, exactly?
As it happens, my own LED RAM has a compatability issue with certain motherboards of one particular chipset, which the manufaturer has yet to fully iron out... and I just happen to have ended up with the wrong combination, unfortunately, so that's a pretty big part of my plate right now!!
Corsair, that part is bordering on a serious fail, mate... You're not the only one, I believe, but still - Shoulda' learned from how Crucial did it on the Tactical Tracers! The LEDs on the memory modules 'pulse' but the lighting effects don't appear to be user configurable.
Fix this and I'll buy as many sticks as can fit in my slots!!
Nope, it's an ASRock X79 board, using Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer RAM.
It's a known bug that some (but not all) X79 boards have compatability issues. Some of them have been resolved, but others persist. I'm trying to ask about a swap, but Crucial haven't answered any emails yet... Anyone know if they have a Rep on this forum?
Should have bought Corsair RAM to begin with!!
I'm not sure why people put LED lights on everything, I'm too busy to be looking at Blackpool illuminations.
