This is good news for everybody. More competition keeps innovation up and prices down.
Hmmm, I think the most interesting thing there is actually the total share - we always think about nvidia being streets ahead of AMD in terms of GPU share because we keep looking at discrete graphics, but in terms of overall graphics share they're pretty close, compared to the gap back from Intel. Just goes to show you how few people actually use/need discrete graphics.
Also interested in how well AMD are doing - relatively speaking - in mobile discrete, given how hard it can be to find a laptop with an AMD dGPU sometimes...
