I'm going to take a wild guess that you've never tried the Vive or Rift.

Besides, in games "the same game" comes out all the time. We're all of us about to buy Mafia III, or Dishonored 2, or Civilization 6, or some other game that's allegedly new but is remarkably similar to other experiences before it. What matters is whether or not each one is fun.

I don't think that I want to relive the anxiety in VR where you can hear the galloping kleers getting closer, but in all the chaos you can't work out from which direction!
It's only a game! Yeah, try telling my brain that.

Imagine hearing the screaming kamikaze bomb guys running at you. I don't know if it would be awesome or just too much or mix of both. Either way I'd want to try it.
