I'm liking the look of that. Though still not really sold on the "edge" thing.
The LG G6 is where I am currently at but thanks to no info about UK pricing or availability I am going to hold out to see what the S8 brings.

Well, I hope Samsung can offer more than just an aesthetic redesign. Looks good, though.
I'm still waiting for a decent replacement of the S5 Active. No removable battery in the S6 & S7 Active are a bit of let down really.
Looks good, but I reiterate my early sentiments that it's going to be next to impossible to use one handed without continuously registering touches. Frankly it looks uncomfortable to use 2 handed, let alone one handed. It's not like a technology manufacturer to let aesthetics get in the way of practicality and ergonomics.
And don't get me started about the terrible fingerprint sensor positioning. On the back is fine, but not right next to the camera lens.
And if that speaker is positioned on the bottom left (when looking at phone) that is the only thing I hated about the Nexus 5 as your hand naturally covered it when using it in landscape mode. Bottom right would have been slightly better. Still, at least it's not rear firing.
That looks to be 2:1 like the LG G6. Hmmmmmmmm...
I have two standard Samsung batteries, and an Mugens 5800mAH battery. Very handy when you are 10 miles and 4/5 hours from no where. Also as the battery degrades it is easy to replace.
Another factor is that I can replace them, sealed units such as the S6 or Sony Zx range have to be done by a third party company none of which will guarantee the IPx therefore having an IPx rated phone made pointless.
Tempted but going to wait for the (non-exploding) Note 8. Contract up for renewal this month but will just buy a Moto G4 to keep me going until Aug/Sept. Does look good though!
Still laughing at their recent adverts about "quality assured" - rofl

They are indeed cringe-worthy!
Tbh this phone looks so good I want to buy even though I have a really good phone already.
Meh,another overpriced high end smartphone which actually does not seem to be anything that innovative.
