WHEN can Ryzen 3 arrive so that it too can kill off intel i3? I am tired of 2 cores.
Ryzen 3 won't kill off the i3, that integrated gpu is too useful in budget builds - wait for Ryzen APUs to do that.
However it looks like AMD doesn't have a quad core chip, and cannibalising high yield octocores doesn't seem like a smart strategy - minus the more expensive pro line.
CAPS LOCK IS NOT A BUTTON IT IS A WAY OF LIFE.
Then again, if you're going to be grabbing a Ryzen APU, what are the chances of also grabbing a motherboard which will support overclocking? (B350/X370). I think the competition will be a lot closer but there are rumours that Intel are increasing the price of the pentium so that people are more inclined to buy an I3. At this point, I think Intel are really just sabotaging their own sales.
Why is Hexus showing the PCPartPicker US graph and not the UK one?

It's not uncommon for tech prices to go up as we approach august and the major gaming release season though, it also allows shops to claim bigger discounts come Christmas.
B350 motherboards start at around £65, so prett6y reasonable, I'd say. Although we've not had confirmation that Ryzen APUs will be unlocked/overclockable yet. Ryzen 3, OTOH, will be, and a £120 Ryzen 3 + a £65 B350 motherboard would make a great base for a lower-end gaming system.
The budget end makes no money, so who cares if Intel leaves it open (and the top 10-20% of sales generate 80% of the profits). Do you like 5% margins, or selling for losses? The only thing you should chase when you are LOSING money quarterly is HIGH MARGIN STUFF. Once you get some profits you can go after the other crap with hobbled chips etc to fill out your line. NEVER start from the other end. AMD keeps getting this wrong. Hopefully the new cpus and vega change this order from here out (kind of went all high this time at least).
A threat to the i3 maybe, but not to the g4560 unless intel really are determined to get rid of that.
Would be rather silly since I don't think Ryzen 3 has an answer to that.
Some games maybe.
I don't think all will benefit equally.
The poster-child of Ashes of the Singularity is an ideal scenario, far away from the typical example.
