So who here's seen it? What did you think?
I saw it last night, and thought it was absolutley amazing! Better than I and II by far, and links into episode IV perfectly. Nearly rivals Empire Strikes Back, IMO.

it was pretty good, much better than ep 1 & II - still some cheese moments! but worth a watch!
Saw it last night. I have to say that appart from the action/fight scenes, it was pretty dire, and i've been a lifelong fan of the series :/
The bit where Vader goes "NOOOOOOO" had the entire cinema laughing..
The part where all the Clone Troops turned on the Jedi was really harsh, as was the spontainious combustion of Darth Vader.
Shame Lucas couldn't really step up a great a deal as a director, the pacing and story wa s fine but as mentioned before the dialogue and acting were borderline garbage. I'm surprised no one on set had the courage to say "Don't you know how corny these lines are?". Also maybe Lucas was a little overzealous with the cgi, sure it looks great but there's only so much you can stomach in a film. The saber battles were cool but I think the one from episode 1 with darth maul is probably the best imo because the guy who played maul actually choreographed it himself.
Agreed- the dialogue tended to be more like meaningless single lines intended to coin catchphrases, rather than actually add to the storyOriginally Posted by e-LAN-go
I gotta say, the bit when the clones turn is quite well done though.
Absolutely terrible, just like the rest of the series, complete garbage!
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
I also thought the "I loved you!", "I HATE YOU", scene was well done. Although cheesey.Originally Posted by klarrix
I watched Episode 1 last night and came to realise that it is severely underrated. It is a good old fashioned adventure, just like the original trilogy. It doesn't matter about irritating characters, it's all just good fun. Episode 2 however had no excuses for appauling acting.
Oh yeah, and guess who this is
who?
