    Failing Tagan TG480-U01 ?

I have this PSU since 16/04/05 purchased from Overclockers UK. Since this morning my system has shown a low 3.3V - currently between 2.9V and 3V, before that it was very stable at 3.3V. Does it mean my PSU is failing ?

My software have been crashing randomly.

    I am running an ABIT is7-E motherboard and a celeron D2.4 o'clocked to 2.9
    1 WD 80Gb IDE HD
1 Seagate 160 Gb IDE HD
1 Seagate 160 Gb SATA HD
    1 Memorex Cd writer
    1 NEC dvd writer

    also connected are
    1 USB scanner
    1 USB Epson Printer
    1 USB Samsung printer

    PCI cards :

    - WinTV
    - Sound card
    - modem

    AGP card

    Nvidia Geforce Ti4200

    Many thanks

Using AbitEq like I have always measured it. It used to be rock stable at 3.3 but now is all over the place. Windows is acting very funny as well, icons not showing, programs crashing,etc...

BTW I tried emailing Tagan for an RMA but no reply so far...

Your psu should of come with a warranty, i can't remember how long. I had the old version of the tg480, i had not problems for months and months then one of the rails started to go a bit lower than usual. And i set up my sytem in a diff case and it wouldn't turn on. Emailed tagan tech support got a reply the next day, and the day after that they collected and dropped off a brand new one with pci-express connectors!

Didn't get an email back telling me what was wrong or anything. but it was a great service.

odds are its more likely to be the PSU than the measurements of voltage on the motherbaord at fault as this problem has just presented itself. most boards use a simple ADC to measure the analouge voltage, the problem is the components aren't very accurate, and change under temp. However normally it dosen't start to happen a few months into its life, its present from the start, as such i'd look at the PSU.

Have you tried un-clocking your system, i mean EVERYTHING to normal speeds? Is it only the 3.3v rail? have you tried checking it with a multimeter?
