NVIDIA show off the new Razr

Now why would NVIDIA be playing with the Motorola Razr? Probably because their mobile GPU is powering the new handset giving what appears to be near faultless movie quality playback on the Razr’s smallish screen.

My MPx200 could! I quite enjoy after having an MS Smartphone for 2 years playing full 2hr DIVX movies off my SD card that people think playing video on their phone is neat

I can't help but feel that phones are slowly becoming what PDA's are. The fact that you can make calls on them is being overtaken by what other features/gimmicks they possess. Don't get me wrong, I like technology, but how far do you think phones will go?

Please discuss, and feel free to disagree... *puts on flame resistant clothing*

    Take care.

My advice to you is STAY AWAY!!! I've got the current V3 and it's shocking.

It doesn't matter what hardware the phone is comprised of, if it's running a Motorola OS then it's just.....I can't even finish the sentence, I hate them so much!

I have to agree always had a Sony ericsson and got the Razr cos lets face it looks amazing but had never used a moto phone before and the os is shocking so slow and unituitive i returned it and got the k750i no where near as stlyish but so feature packed and easy to use and nice in a understated way. the new LG's look sweet but again no experiance with there OS so can't comment on how good they are to use hopefully as good as SE lets face it can't be as bad as Moto

I guess I'm gonna be playing on a few phones before I buy one.

From what I've been told, the Motorola OS has barely changed for YEARS in it's basic state. They've added software extras here and there (like camera apps, media player software, etc) but the actual nuts and bolts of it are unchanged.

I woudn't say the GUI graphics are BAD...just not particularly appealing. I can live with that, it's just the extreme sluggishness and lack of sensible functions that drive me crazy. And even then, it's not necessarily because they hinder me. It's because I hate the fact anyone can produce something like this and think it fit for market release.....whoever tested/developed this rubbish should be slapped round the face. With a shovel.

I agree completly with the above thats what dissapointed/angred me so much about Moto, they put together a stunning phone thats just pure brilliance for design and all the features they managed to pack in to such a small device and then let it down with shocking OS(so bad i returned it) Moto really need to do something about it.

I got the V3x (not connected to a network yet) and i have to say the phone is a massive, massive improvement. I have used nokias and sonys since day one and this one is just as intuitive. It will of course take a while to get used to the texting but thats the same everytime you get a new phone. The original V3 is appaling. This one is a brilliant phone. Really shouldnt have used the V3 name as it gives it a bad rep from the start.

Mine also has a few games on it. Havent played them yet but i'll give them a try and report back

Just checked out the tech specs for the V3x and have to say again it looks amazing and makes up for the only shortcoming of the original V3 Razr by allowing more memory i look forward to playing with this as i didn't reliase Moto had updated the OS on it thanks for the heads up.
