    Egcellent Ideas' ring-pull eggs

Okay, the ring-pull egg from Egcellent Ideas isn't strictly digital home but it is a product that's used at home with the digits and is so intriguing that we simply couldn't let it pass.

The idea arose, according to its London-based inventor Hugo Frazer, for the very reason you'd imagine - because of his frustration at being unable to open eggs without spilling their contents everywhere or breaking the yolk. Or both.

And, rather modestly, Frazer reckons that an idea that at first might seem like an impossibility actually turned out to be relatively straightforward to achieve using a combination of nanotechnology and lateral thinking.

More about this crafty idea in this HEXUS.headline.

And don't forget to tell us whether the idea appeals to you.

Background to this is that I'd got my mate Hugo Frazer (who was my sub-editor on Computer Video mag) to scam up the pic for a short silly piece I intended to write called, I hate chefs.

The underlying reason for my hating them is their ability to crack eggs so masterfully one handed, not their silly hats or even their tendency to produce pretentious miniscule dishes that wouldn't satisfy an anorexic.
