Got my grfx card from Scan..

Is it common to get different make/desings of card? I really didnt want a fanless, otherwise I would have gone for the XFX card. Not really that bothered now, as i just wanna get the pc running.. But with fanless, will I lose any performance?

Hmmm...strange, I think it is this card:

Which is £7 more, and is fanless, I am not sure about performance, as they look to be the same spec, but perhaps the new card will be more difficult to overclock, but on the plus side it will be quieter!

If the core and memory are at the same clockspeeds, then performance will be virtually identical.

You may lose some overclocking potential, but you're probably not looking for this.
If you have enough airflow in your case, you may even find that having a larger passive heatsink works a lot better than a smaller heatsink, with a small whiney and inefficient fan cooling it.

You won't lose any performance unless the GPU's are different or clocked slower

Fanless is better unless you overclock, nice and silent
