    Go to Nildram instead - owned by Pipex but no port throttling.

    Why would port throttling affect surfing

    I'm sure they'll only throttle the norty ports?

    Nildram dont offer as good a deal anywho.

    I hate the whole idea of throttling, nanny state indeed, it merely takes the rights of the user to make their own decisions. Some of the ports may indeed be justified, but perhaps people ought to be given a test to ensure they can do things such as search for viruses/adware/spamware, education is better than cure.
