whats so great about the boomslangs? I've heard they're really uncomfy and they're not even optical (correct me if I'm wrong).

the mx500 is the most configurable mouse ive ever used lovely thing, smooth ( cant use on white or reflective surfaces ) but its smooth, perfect ergonomics.

the mx700 is just a quirk w, wireless, dont trust em personally :/ always had good times with my wire x-D

yeah wireless is a gimmik (gimmick? gimmic?), wires aint a prob - a USB extension lead is only a few quid, and the best mousemats (like my funC) come with a little thing to stop the wire getting in the way just get an intellimouse, great mice, and if they break M$'s customer support is 2nd to none. Ive had 2 mice break from them (both my fault tbh, one i uh..pulled out the wire and the other i chiped the intelli eye) and they just replaced them free of charge - with the latest version (my original mouse was an OEM intellimouse 4.1, they replaced it with a retail boxed intellimouse 4.2, and then that with a 4.3 )

Well, the only problem I've had is that it doesn't work very well with my IceMat. When you move the mouse really slow, the cursor goes a bit mad

For me, there's very little to choose between MS and Logitech mice... It just a matter of preference and I have different models from both.
