    SN41G2 reset button faulty

Anytime the reset button is pressed it sticks. This causes the machine to go nuts with the fans running at full tilt, the HDD light showing it as accessing and everything else locking up. The only way to fix it is to pull the plug and open up the case so I can fiddle about with the wired part of the switch until the button pops back into place.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and if you did how did you sort it?

If it is a faulty switch can anyone suggest a good replacement part and where to get it please?

Have you actually tried removing the button and checked for obstructions casuing it to stick? Might just be a simple case of doing so and then you're sorted

Nope I've not tried doing that yet but it is on my list of things to do when I strip the case out for the fan grill cutout mod.
