will Radeon 9600 Ultimate = overheated shuttle?

I like the idea of the Sapphire ati 9600 Ultimate Edition passive cooled graphics card - nice and quiet (since my next PC will be on 24-7)... However I want to get the SB75g2 - will there be enough airflow? Has anyone had any experience of this combination?

Also, am I likely to have any problems with it edging into the PCI slot's space, and also does this card require extra power from elsewhere? How would I hook it up (does it come with the right wires to plug into the sb75g2's power pack? (will get the rev2 silentX version).

I'd be interested in knowing, as I'm also thinking of getting a passively cooled card for my Shuttle, tho I think it will overheat.

    Platinum's system
It wont fit will it due to the AGP slot being to close to the edge, it will over heat as shuttles run to hot anyhow, wouldnt risk it if i were you.

It will definitely not fit, same as using any of those passive Zalman GFX coolers.

The Sapphire 9600 & 9600XT Ultimates will fit in a shuttle fine (They use a smaller heatpipe than the 9800 series). You may or may not be able to use the PCI slot though, this will depend on the size/width of PCI card you are trying to use. As for heat it gets a little more toasty inside but the shuttle can handlle it. Hope this help you make your decision.

Definitly not fit my arse. using one in a shuttle now

    Sapphire 9600XT Ultimate

Doesnt require any power connectors, it will block some pci cards from being fitted but not all it depends on the card .
