    Installing a shuttle with dual channel ram

    just built a new shuttle but would only install windowsXP with 1 of a dual pair of ram. seems to work fine after install with both sticks in.

    is this normal?

    As long as it works in dual ram mode post install i wouldn't worry. Which shuttle is it?

    I too am buying a new shuttle a SN95G5 and I wondered which ram you used mate as I need some new stuff too.

    SN41's have been fussy beasts since day one man, wouldn;t worry about it tbh, never had that problem myself but im not suprised at all, as mine once rejected the graphics card when i was trying to install windows and then it installed fine afterwards once xp was loaded

    do u find they reset there own bios back to default at anytime. inlcuding power shut down from a crashed windows?
