Problems with EPIA M10k playing DVDs

Ive just tried playing some DVDs for the first time in my EPIA M10k on my pc and sometimes the picture goes pretty pixelated. This happens in full screen and windows using Power DVD. With the same DVD on my main system it plays perfectly.

Ive installed all the necessary drivers and its stable as a rock. CPU useage is about 30-40% playing a DVD and its not overheating.

    What can i do?

I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

No idea on whether it can help or anything... but defragment your c: drive? I remember defragmenting a 200Mhz laptop years ago, and it booted up in 3 minutes, rather than 4

what version of powerdvd are you using - i'm using v4 on mine, with 512mb, win2k and don't have any probs.

(apart from surround sound not being supported / working properly - but i just set it to 4speakers in powerdvd4 - apparently v5 of power dvd supports surround sound properly for the m10000)

with zonealarm, AVG running in background.

    what film?

ticking hardware playback doesn't work for me in power dvd 4. i think you need v5 for it to use the hardware properly?

and have you got the latest gfx drivers ? i think they released some 23rd sep this year - which are quicker.

Finding Nemo R1 NTSC on my LCD, however Shrek R2 worked fine on the TV.

    Testing..

Works fine with R2 resoviour dogs too!? I think its just NTSC disks. I was even able to run bit torrent and zone alarm when testing the resviour dogs!?
Its Power DVD 4 too, i havent installed the patch for it cause it buggers it up for me. Hardware playback is enabled, as is stereo sound output (cause to TV im using a SCART input and 3.5" jack to 2 RCAs).

Ill get those latest drivers, atm i just used the ones off the CD.

Has been used for coming up 2 years now. Set it to quiet mode and it works a real treat! Seems to be set to multiregion since i flashed it a while back.

That's cause the 105's had many-a-problem unfortunatly. They also died randomly iirc.
