thing is i got the downloaded ones, but cant get it to work with my 7600s - im really after one like unique, where u can select the model of the phone, e.g. nokia then 7600 as theres a few other settings and i dont know if its a version 2 5 or 7 phone

the one on tech-tronix automatically selects the asic type and the recommended box type, all you do is put in IMEI number and MNC-MCC e'g uk-3G or uk- vodafone

on the homepage there is a link to eother DCT2 DCT3 DCT4 or LG, click on whatever DCT version you wanna unlock, if your not sure just post your IMEI in the unlocking section and someone will give you the codes

The 7600 is a type 7 phone I think, will find out for sure when mine arrives from cpw. Still deciding whether its going on ebay or not.

cheers, it is a code 7, apprently you cant use standard remote codes, there 'different' for some reason

So you need a data cable to unlock them or am I getting the wrong end of the stick ?

Researched around and i've found out that 3 has locked the menu required to set the phone to just allow it to use GSM so apparrently it will still work but you'll get crap signal because its always looking for a 3G network. Apparently you need to find a phone shop to unlock the menu with a flasher cable so i'll only use GSM, so when I get this im gonna have to try and find a shop that will do this just hoping theres one in cov because otherwise its staying on 3 and going straight on ebay cos the flasher cables cost a fortune.
