Personally, I find Amazon Kindle Fire is a nice option for this price range.

Yoga 3 tablets will start coming down in price soon with the Yoga4 line coming out, they do the job.

    Take a look:

Edit: it's marshmallow as well so although it's only got 16gb, it's got sd and adoptable storage.
Have to second this it being one awesome tablet for the money!! WINNER

    Re: Best Android Tablet £100-£180?

I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab A T580 (2016 model) 10.1" 1920x1200 screen, microsd up to 128gb. It comes with Marshmallow but upgraded to Nougat through a system update. They are can still be obtained new for around £170 on Amazon. Battery life is outstanding - I have been browsing for 30 mins and used 2%. The screen will be a come down from a retina display but still bright and sharp.

Has anyone tried Huawei MediaPad T3? Judging by the reviews it's a nice alternative to Samsung
